Most of us in the modern era are bound to use our devices such as Smartphones, Desktops, Laptops, and TV, etc for an extended time may it be for work, study, entertainment, or more.

Exposure to displays of our devices for extended period results in many eye discomforts such as dry eyes, itchy eyes, redness, and eyestrain.

You can get relief from these discomforts if you practice following exercises and take good care of your eyes with a proper nutritious meal.

Exercise 1 -

  1. Quickly close your eyes and squeeze.
  2. Squeeze for 3-5 seconds.
  3. Release your eyes from squeezing but keep closed and relaxed for 3-5 seconds
  4. Open your eyes.

Do this exercise for 5-10 sets for 4-6 times a day.

This exercise will cover the eyes with the layer of tears which will help in forming a protein-rich layer, moisturizing and lubricating the eye and also removing any type of debris from the eyes.

Exercise 2 -

  1. Close your eyes.
  2. Relax your eyes in the closed state.
  3. Move your eyes in 5 directions i.e Straight, Up,  Down, Left, and Right.
  4. Open your eyes.

Do this for 2-5 minutes for 4-6 times a day.

This exercise will help in relaxing your eye muscles and relieve any stress on muscles due to staring at the screen for a long time.

If you're facing any severe eye problem we recommend you visit a doctor.
